In 2003 the Vampire was re-opened with new trains that allowed your feet to dangle free like on rides such as Nemesis. However with no alterations to the track the ride remained un-intense and for a thrill seeker un-exciting. However another change was that riders could be as small as 1.1m which means this is a great ride for those who are not yet big enough to get on a proper coaster.
History
The Vampire closed in 2001 promising a new and improved Vampire for the 2002 season. In the 2002 season The Vampire reopened with new floorless suspended swing trains made by Vekoma, the same as the ones they use on their Swinging Suspended Family Coaster's. Other changes were less noticeable and were mainly tidying up the ride and carrying out some maintenance.
